Current PhD students in Physics (or closely related fields) at one of the three MAP Universities are encouraged to transfer to the MAP-fis program. To accomplish this transfer the following documents should be sent electronically to mapfis@map.edu.pt

- the candidate's current research plan;

- a short description of the work accomplished so far (a single A4 page);

- a brief letter of support from the student’s supervisor evaluating the research progress of the candidate;

- the candidate’s current CV.

These documents should be sent as soon as possible so that they can be evaluated by the MAP-fis Scientific Commission, which will meet in May 2009 and beginning of September 2009.
