Since this year edition submissions are permanently open. Students can be selected to enrol the program in both semesters.

To apply for admission to MAP-i, read the following instructions carefully and make certain that you have met all requirements when you submit your application.
- Submit a Statement of Purpose (in English).
Prepare a concise one or two page essay that describes your primary areas of interest in research, your related experiences, and your objective in pursuing a PhD degree at MAP-i. Your essay should be specific in describing your interests and motivations. When describing your research interests, you should explain why you think they are important areas of study and why you are particularly well-suited to pursuing them.
- Submit your current Resume (curriculum vitae).
Outline your education, research experience, work experience, publications, scholarships awarded, prizes and honors received, society memberships, and any other extracurricular activities. Include information about your fluency in written and spoken English.
- Submit one transcript for each university degree mentioned in your resume. Please provide transcript of grades also and transcripts of any certificate of English proficiency, such as TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge Proficiency examination.
If you do not have a certificate of English proficiency, please mention in your Resume your experience with the language.
- Submit three letters of recommendation.
Recommenders should know you relatively well and be able to evaluate the quality of your previous work. At least two should be from faculty or recent employers. Letters should be sent directly to us by email by the recommenders. Paper recommendations will not be accepted.
Letters of recommendation are due by the 30th of April (1st selection phase) and 10th of July (2nd selection phase).

When submitting your application, please include a cover letter detailing all documents you are sending.
Grants
To apply for a grant, write in your submission letter that you are applying also for a research grant. To maximize your opportunities you must apply for more than one fund.
