Miguel Matos, a PhD student in the MAP-i Doctoral Programme in Informatics, affiliated to the HASLab - INESC TEC research center, won the Best Paper Award in the 26th IEEE International Parallel & Distributed Processing Symposium, 2012, with a paper entitled "BRISA: Combining Efficiency and Reliability in Epidemic Data Dissemination". This is a very important conference (rank A in the CORE list, 21% acceptance rate). The MAP-i Scientific Committee congratulates Miguel and his supervisor.
